Levels of Intelligence: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
Obviously, we know, the system is oversimplified. Oh yeah I know there's also nan memotional intelligence. No, there's probably about three or four forms of emotional intelligence and none of them need to be placed within a system of condescending to in order to elevate your intellectual intelligence or clinging to in order to salvage your intellectual intelligence. It's just a thing your brain can do. Stop calling it emotional intelligence that's fucking dumb, interpersonal intelligence would likely be a better label. Then there's probably about seven or eight forms of intellectual intelligence. Nine or ten forms of creative intelligence. There's probably some other abstractions of concepts that we can't even currently think of that fit within the concept of intelligence. At the moment, we don't really know, all we know is this is very oversimplified.

IQ as a marker doesn't need to just be dismissed into nothing, if you did good on an IQ test obviously you have something, yeah there's all sorts of biases in there but even if you're a non-white male if you did horrible on an IQ test you obviously have something. We can just leave it, oh you have an impressive score oh you have a stupid score, whatever, it doesn't really mark anything be all and end all but it's a thing that is something. You took a test and you did good on the test. I'm only a 135 and Dane Marshel is a 174, so obviously you can't count it for much.
